The WCRU Board invites applications for the position of Head Coach of the West Coast Heartland rugby team for 2025.

This is an opportunity to enhance the development and further success of West Coast rugby.

The Heartland Coach will need to identify and develop programs for our players, work closely with our club coaches to ensure the individual performance of the players and the collective Heartland team performs at the highest level consistently.

Our key attributes a successful candidate will need to demonstrate are;
• Proven coaching experience at a senior level, (provincial, club or professional),
• A proven track record in creating a winning culture,
• An affinity to the region and its people,
• An understanding of what is required to compete at a national level.
• Demonstrate an ability to lead, inspire and manage diverse teams
• Expertise in game analysis and player development
• Provide consistent communication and inter personal skills to players, coaching and support staff to align with the team goals.
