WEST COAST RUGBY UNION COVID 19 UPDATE
An update from NZRU

Due to the recent updated Covid regulations which states now that at Alert Level 2, there are no restrictions on the number of people that can attend an event at a venue, for example at a stadium, cinema, theatre or conference venue — as long as everyone
can safely stay 1 metre apart.

This means in terms of our 3 domestic competitions we would see the no restrictions
on the number of people that can attend guidelines applying (as being played at a
stadium and due to them being part of a national competition), however for any of
you running community rugby then the 100 person cap remains in place.
i..e. Under 16 fixture West Coast v Buller.

As a result for the Heartland fixture this weekend against Thames Valley there are now no crowd restrictions, however we must also comply with the regulations in relation to scanning or manual signing of the attendance register before entry and sanitisation.
