Funniest moment in rugby: In 2011, Marist 16’s v Blaketown, we got a penalty & Reuben Mama kicked the ball out, then his father Dave (touch judge) didn’t see the ball landing sqaure on his head. It bounced higher than Reuben kicked it.
Biggest disappointment in rugby: In 2010 Marist U/14’s lost to Blaketown 25-24, I was gutted
Earliest memory of playing rugby: I played league when I was a junior, so I started rugby in U/12’s coached by Andrew Robb, picking up rugby easily.
If you could play any position other than your normal one, which would it be: Fullback, because I like catching the high ball and tackling
Most respected opponent: Jarrod Monk
Favourite rugby field played on: Marist’s new field (Noel McMillan Park)
Best advice your parents ever gave you: When the going gets tough, the tough get going.
